Wipeout 2048 HD DLC is just as fast and frenetic as it's console brethren

Im so glad i was able to get the DLC for this game free of charge because i would of gladly paid cash money for this beastly dlc. I got the game free because i already owned the wipeout hd and fury dlc on the ps3. I was a bit worried that the game's frame rate would not be up to scratch compared to Wipeout HD on the PS3, i was half expecting the framerate was going to be slow or laggy, due to it being a port of the more powerful ps3 version and that the wipeout 2048 HD engine on the ps3 ran at 60 fps. But boy was i wrong, apart from some slight downgrade in texture quality. The game retains it's breaknace pace, with no screen tearing or lag. In fact the phantom level's on the psvita feel faster, and the AI seem to be way more aggressive than on the Ps3 version. After trying out crossplay the Wipeout tracks felt a bit jaggy and slow, but after playing the complete dlc wipeout 2048 packs. I've been proved wrong. The graphics look as good if not better than wipeout 2048.

Im going to start uploading more Inside sim racing youtube videos. Im a big fan of racing games, especially Gran turismo and the Toca series. I enjoy there coverage and im sure you will as well check out their june 23rd edition.

It's good news then for you. I was just watching some kickass tekken tag tournament 2 footage straight from japan. It shows all the modes in the game and a heap of other cool stuff.  Not a fan of the snoop dogg music, but im warming up to this game quite a bit. The Game is scheduled for release on the 14th of September for the Xbox 360 and Ps3 in EUrope. Not sure about the american dates, but should be the same time or a bit earlier.
