Battlefield 3 Beta for PC is just under 4 GIGs

The Battlefield 3 beta went public on the 29 September 2011, and for those wondering how big the download size is for the beta, it clocks in at just under 4 GIG.

 

The Beta, only features Rush mode currently. Rush mode is an objective-based mission where two teams on opposing sides face-off. One side has to attack two objectives , whereas the other side is tasked to defend their stations at all cost. The defending team usually gets more resources.

The beta is not as visually impressive as the full game is going to be, for instance, on the PC it does not even feature ultra detail mode. You have to remember that the PS3 is become quite dated, and that battlefield's maps are enormous and something's got to give. So if you want the game to look incredible you're going to need some hardware that is capable of pulling its weight. You have to rememmber that crysis warhead still hits about 12 fps using hd6950 crossfire at some times, so its NEVER gooing to look as good as crysis 1 did, since even crysis 2 isn't as intensive to run. Frostbite was never meant to look better than cryengine, Crytek just went and upstaged EVERYONE for the next 8-10 years.

Was Frostbite2 even ON in the PS3 Beta!!!??? It was visually disappointing as Crysis 2 was for me!! JUST...PLAIN...HORRIBLE!!?? It did a raping on my screen...my TV is violated!!!
