F1 2011 Safety Car Confirmed

Codemasters has revealed a picture of  developer Stephen Hood with a first glimpse at the Mercedes Benz SLS AMG safety car on a screen in the background.Safety Cars will be available in races which are over 20% of a full grand prix and can be switched off if you not into watching cut scenes :p

During the Safety Car session You'll maintain car control behind the safety car, but with certain restrictions. Regrettably the Safety Car wont be available for players to drive.

 

F1 2011 will be released for the PC, Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 on September 23.
